Staff

		Michael B. Leach, Ph.D. Clinical and Forensic Psychologist Dr. Leach is co-director and founder of the Center. He is a graduate of Brown University and received advanced degrees at Case Western Reserve University. He was a National Institutes of Mental Health Fellow at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Michael is a qualified divorce mediator. He also provides domestic relations court evaluations at the request of attorneys and judges. He spends a good deal of his time counseling couples and offering intensive short-term counseling for individuals and families coping with divorce. Read more about Dr. Leach.

		Deborah A. Koricke, Ph.D. Clinical and Forensic Psychologist Dr. Deborah Koricke is the Center's Vice President; she manages all the company's business functions as well as having an active clinical practice. A graduate of Johns Hopkins University and Case Western Reserve University, Dr. Koricke holds a BA in Psychology and an MA and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. She has completed additional training in forensic psychology from Case Western Reserve School of Law and University Hospitals of Cleveland. Dr. Koricke specializes in forensic psychology, and works routinely in local, state and federal courts. She has completed numerous evaluations for a variety of courts for allocation of parental rights and responsibilities, as well as other functions in Domestic Relations Courts. Dr Koricke has worked with both local, national and international custody cases. Additionally, Dr. Koricke works with those involved in the criminal justice system, performing a variety of evaluations with both juveniles and adults. She evaluates individuals for competency to stand trial, not guilty by reason of insanity, amenibility to rehabilitation and for mitigation purposes. Dr. Koricke additionally works with those facing capital charges. Dr Koricke also works with other individuals of all ages, from children through geriatric clients, facing adjustment challenges and/or coping with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma and other changing life circumstances.

		Cassandra B. Morton, M.Ed., M.A. Psychotherapist Cassandra holds graduate degrees in Clinical Psychology and Counseling from The Cleveland State University. Mrs. Morton has worked with the Center for over 20 years as a psychotherapist. She is a dedicated and inspiring behavioral health professional who has extensive experience in applied psychology. Mrs. Morton works with adults, families and children. She works with her clients in various settings, both in the office and at their homes and in the community. She is especially interested in helping individuals, couples and families successfully work through life adjustment challenges.

		Sandra E. Turner, Ed.S., LPCC, LICDD Professional Counselor Sandy has strong background in providing counseling to adults and teens. She is also highly regarded as a specialist in the assessment and treatment of chemical dependency. Prior to entering full-time private practice, Sandy directed chemical dependency programs at Glenbeigh Hospital and Family Health Association. Sandy has also received specialized training in hypnosis and in family therapy.

		Anna Cacchione, LISW-S Ms. Cacchione’s areas of clinical expertise are as follows: abuse (physical, sexual, etc.), anger management, cognitive behavioral therapy, compulsive gambling, crisis diversionary services, dissociative disorders, domestic violence, forensic issues, grief/bereavement, pain management, personality disorders, and phobias. Ms. Cacchione also has expertise in the assessment and treatment of substance abuse disorders. Populations that Ms. Cacchione treats are children and adolescents, adults, couples/marriage therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. Mrs. Cacchione is a graduate of Kent State University and received an advanced degree from Ohio State University.

		David Bostwick, LSW Social Worker Dave has a MSSW from Cleveland State University and is a licensed social worker. Additionally Dave is a LCDC III (Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional Level III) as well as a SAP (Substance Abuse Professional). Dave is qualified to conduct DOT (Return to duty) evaluations. Dave’s area of expertise is in forensic social work and my areas of competence with supervision include Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Anger Management, Marital Counseling, Substance Abuse, Domestic Violence, work with Juveniles with substance abuse and other issues and Workmen’s Compensation cases.

		Pamela Corrigan, M.A. Psychology Assistant Pam is an assistant to Drs. Leach and Koricke. She is a graduate of Brown University, and received her Masters’ degree in psychology from Cleveland State University. Working under the supervision of a clinical psychologist, she provides assistance in diagnostic testing, and with counseling of children, adolescents and adults.

		James Rodio, M.D. Adult Psychiatry

		Kimberly Thomas, M.A. Psychology Assistant Kim provides assistance to Drs. Leach and Koricke in performing psychological testing and disability examinations.

		Dan Trigiani Psychology Assistant Dan is a graduate student in clinical psychology who provides assistance to Dr. Koricke as part of his advanced training. He has a special interest in pain management, and assists Dr. Leach in performing pain evaluations.

		Dr. Stein is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and trained in General Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. She trained in General Psychiatry at MetroHealth Hospitals of Cleveland and Stanford University School of Medicine and completed a combined National Institutes of Mental Health-Stanford University fellowship in Human Development. Dr. Stein is welcoming new patients, ages 12 and up.

		Kendra Shoup is a licensed professional clinical counselor who graduated from Walsh University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology, and a Master’s degree in School Counseling and Mental Health Counseling. She has past experiences working with children and adolescents at Bellefaire JCB in Lorain County as a school based therapist for 3 years. She has been with Center For Effective Living since August 2012. Kendra works with individuals of all ages to help work through life’s challenges and help individuals gain abilities to achieve personal goals.

		Kristi Osterling, Psy.D. graduated from Nova Southeastern University with her Masters and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Forensic Psychology. She completed competency evaluations and risk assessments during her internship at Oklahoma Forensic Center. At the Center for Effective Living, she evaluates all ages for a variety of needs including ADHD, learning disability, cognitive, memory, personality, guardianship, Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation, adoption, and Compensation and Pension. She performs individual therapy with adolescents and adults. Areas of expertise include severe mental illness, personality disorders, women’s issues, relationships, communication, substance abuse, anger, domestic violence, self-esteem, grief and loss issues.

		Michael Rudolph, LPC, received his Master’s of Education from Cleveland State University. He attended John Carroll University for his under graduate degree. Treatment Topics of expertise include: couples counseling, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, conflict resolution, adjustment issues, anger management, family counseling, children’s issues (ages 10 and up), addiction issues.

		Lisa Basilli RN PMH CNS BC Lisa ‘s background And education include attending and teaching at Kent State University where she received a Masters in Psychiatric Nursing as an advanced practice nurse. Her experience includes 16 years in nursing at Summa Health Systems dedicating 10 of those years to behavioral health. She specializes in holistic care that includes individual and group therapy as well as medication management of mood disorders, acute and sub-acute psychosis, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, dementia, hospice, bereavement, and substance abuse.

		Kady Ermisch is a licensed Social Worker who graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work. She has been with Center for Effective Living since August 2012. Kady works with children, adolescents and adults, with a wide variety of mental health issues and concerns. Kady is available some evenings and Saturdays.

		Hanne-Berit Hahnemann, DMA, M.ed, LSC, LPC Hanne-Berit holds a graduate degree in counseling from Cleveland State University and is a licensed clinical mental health counselor as well as a licensed school counselor. She also holds a doctorate of musical arts from the University of New York and has over 20 years of experience in the performing arts. Dr. Hahnemann specializes in performance anxiety as well as other types of anxiety and extends her treatment to performers, athletes, public speakers and professionals. Other specialties include depression, self esteem issues, relationships issues, divorce transitions, coping skills, marital and family therapy, child or adolescent, drug/alcohol abuse, loss and grief, parenting, self harming, geriatric issues, career and academic issues, bisexual, lesbian, gay and transsexual issues. Ms. Hahnemann speaks several languages and is fluent in English, Danish, Norwegian and German.

		Kimberly Thomas, M.A.  Psychology Assistant Kimberly holds a master's degree in clinical/counseling psychology from Cleveland State University. She also has three years of doctoral education in higher education administration with a focus on diversity training and management. With twenty years of experience with the practice, her areas of expertise include psychometric and diagnostic assessment and testing aimed at learning, attention, behavior, and cognitive issues. She works closely with Drs. Koricke and Leach in evaluations for disability and industrial injury, as well as for criminal and civil court.

		Matthew Liptensky MA, PC, has been working in the mental health and addiction fields for over 18 years. He has workied in acute inpatient psychiatric hospitals and a variety of outpatient mental health and addiction settings. He has a vast array of experiences working with children & adolescents, couples/marital therapy, and adults having difficulties managing their lives due to emotional/mood disturbances. In addition, Matthew has experience working in the forensic mental health field including legal issues involving; criminal matters, civil litigations, domestic relations issues, and legal issues related to substance abuse/addiction issues.
